our lolli-cone display in progress...
I had the pleasure of being part of the exciting preparations for Leah & Michael's wedding at the Brooklyn Pop Up Wedding Chapel yesterday. The elements, mostly paper, came together beautifully and transcended their simplicity. There was a virtual Dream Team on hand; editors from Martha Stewart Weddings, Claudia Hanlin from The Wedding Library, and photographer Mel Barlow, for starters. Excitement was in the air as camera crews and reporters from ABC and the Daily News photographed the event coming together! Click here and here to see what MSW the Wedding Library had to say about it!
Darcy Miller, Editor of MSW and Shira Savada, Real Weddings editor of MSW tweak the favor display
Claudia Hanlin, Darcy Miller and me with our favor display.
From the onset, we were thrilled to be asked to create branded favors and display for the wedding. We designed and produced Belgian white chocolate monogrammed lollies (inspired by the sweet invitation design by Ice Cream Social), then we created two lolli-cone towers to display them. The paper construction of the lollie cones worked perfectly with the crepe streamers and floral favor boxes that MSW created.
What a joy! I'm sure the wedding was fabulous... Congratulations to Leah and Michael!
